"A journey into the grove, exploring the tangled branches of past, dripping with the freshly squeezed juices of today."
Graves B'hamala is a groovy trio, blending elements of rock, americana, funk, blues, indie, and psychedelia into a vibe guaranteed to quench any thirst! The name is derived from the historic bricks that lie beneath our feet here in Northeast Florida. These bricks paved many roads in the south, buried and forgotten, for better or worse. Graves B'hamala is a is a revival of the roots that have come before us, held up in a modern light, examined through a fresh lens, pruned and cultivated into tomorrow's blossom.
After releasing their debut single, 'Two Fresh Tears' earlier this year, Graves B'hamala followed up the funky Americana song with 'Heavy on the Tree', a mellowed out tune available now on all major streaming platforms as of June 2nd. Just in time for summer, 'Heavy on the Tree' is a sultry sizzler, perfect for burning down those sun-kissed evenings. Inspiration was drawn from a blissful day along the Suwannee River, a magical and mysterious place in North Florida, pictured on the cover. Both 'Two Fresh Tears' and 'Heavy on the Tree' will be part of an upcoming EP titled, "Back to the Grove", set for release this fall.
