Ancient City Poets Showcase on Sep 24

Ancient City Poets will showcase and spotlight the local poetry scene at The Art Studio at St. Augustine Beach as part of Sing Out Loud.
You can be an agent of change with your written words. Bob Dylan created change, and so did John Lennon. This is the idea behind 100 Thousand Poets for Change, a grassroots organization now in its eleventh year that brings communities together to call for environmental, social, and political change within the framework of peace and sustainability.
The theme is “What would you change with your words? War? Prejudice? How about turning inward and changing yourself?”
The St. Augustine observation of 100 Thousand Poets for Change will be Ancient.
6:00 PM – DOORS
7:00 PM – 100 THOUSAND POETS FOR CHANGE FEATURING NINE ANCIENT CITY POETS WITH MC CHRIS BODOR
