As part of Sing Out Loud, ZF Lively, The Skinny, Chris Kastle and Aslyn & The Naysayers will perform at Dog Rose Brewing Co. This event is FREE and open to the public!
ZF Lively currently splits his time between Florida and his hometown of Richmond, VA – picking up observations and stories in between. Having spent decades in the St. Augustine scene as a solo performer and member of The Wobbly Toms, he is always thrilled to perform his mix of bluesy/folkish originals and intriguing interpretations for his music loving friends in the Nation’s Oldest City.
The heart of The Skinny is a singer-songwriting husband and wife team also known as Pamela and Taylor Fausset. Creating original music using life experience and artistic imagination to spread a message of peace, love and accountability that is timeless and endlessly relevant. Joined for Sing Out Loud by their great friend and guitarist extraordinaire, Gregory Ruggiero adds a Psychedelic element to their Gypsy Americana sound that should not be missed!
Chris Kastle is an award winning singer, storyteller, songsmith, author, artist and educator from St. Augustine. She is a professional touring performer and seasoned traveler who offers insight into a lifetime of adventure. Her original songs possess great imagery and have the occasional flavor of Celtic and Maritime traditions.
Aslyn & the Naysayers have been playing music together in St. Augustine since 2006. Our individual influences are diverse, and that accounts for the wide and eclectic range of music we like to play. We have performed at the Florida Folk Festival, Gamble Rodgers Folk Festival, Creekside Festival, as well as numerous other festivals, events, gatherings, and weddings. We think of St. Augustine as home, and of each other as family.
