Joe Nash

Growing up in West Virginia, Joe Nash was no stranger to music. Like a lot of musicians, Joe got his start in church.  As a young boy of only 3, he vividly remembers jumping on the church altar and playing the air guitar. The lively reaction of the church members was all he needed to be bitten by the music bug.  The day after graduating college, Joe left for Nashville to pursue his love of music and songwriting.

During Joe’s time in Nashville, he was involved in many aspects of the industry – ranging from running merchandising for bands on the road, to being mentored by industry vets in the recording studio like Lonnie Wilson, to touring with his duo Watson and Nash for several years.

Throughout all of his musical ventures, Joe had another dream as well. He wanted to attend Belmont University in Nashville to further his education.  Upon graduating with his Master’s from the Massey School of Business, he began his career in Business Management Consulting.

Now, Joe combines his passion for writing songs and mentoring young artists on the business aspect of the music industry. “Through all of my musical experiences, songwriting continues to be where my passion lies.  Now, I feel that I can also help artists on the business side of their careers.” Joe feels his current position has redefined the way he approaches songwriting.

Joe currently lives in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife and five-year-old son. He often travels to Nashville to collaborate and network. He enjoys sitting on his back porch strumming his guitar and singing with his dog Cooper.
