Sarbez Showcase on Sept. 17

As part of Sing Out Loud, Flag on Fire, Trust Anchor, Danny Attack and So Impossible will perform at Sarbez. This event is FREE and open to the public!

Flag on Fire is a 5 piece melodic punk band from Jacksonville Florida. The Band formed in 2016 and is fueled by various musicians hailing from a notable group of bands from the Jacksonville area such as Yellowcard and Whole Wheat Bread. “Slack to the Future” their first release was on Bird Attack Records that same year. Followed by a full length album in 2018 titled “Practically the Best You’ve Ever Been” released by Felony Records. They have shared the stage with such bands as Pennywise , Strung Out, Anti-Flag, 88 Fingers Louie.
Currently the band is working on their third installment to their library. There was an unofficial release in January 2020 of the single “Adventures in Risk-Management”, a song approaching the subject of the current political climate at the time. The song sucks the listener in with a build up of a heavy driven Kick Drum, Floor Tom, and gritty Bass Guitar. Layered by some distorted guitar driven feedback.
Before you know it. The main riff has punched you in the face with an old school style Thrash Punk. You can’t help but wonder what the new album will provide.

Based in Northeast Florida, TRUST ANCH()R was born from a wide array of influences. Hot Water Music, Alkaline Trio, Fugazi, and many other post-hardcore sounds can be heard in every song. High energy melodic tones that carry the pulse-pounding beat of their music through their entire catalog. Live performances are electric and festive.
